With a distinctive connection of pop architecture and indie mojo, Desert Island Friend is an alternative rock band from the San Francisco Bay Area. The group was formed in 2014 by drummer Jake Shaffer and guitarist Evan Whildin, who met during college in Pennsylvania. Bassist Adam Prado completed the lineup in 2015 and the band began to promote their record in the San Francisco music community.
